ABOUT US
|
I'm Kevin Keathley, the owner of Keathley Homes, and I'd like you to meet my family.
I know some may find it odd that a construction contractor would lead off a Web page with a portrait of himself with his wife and children. And I suppose in one sense, they'd have a point. My wife Karen isn't going to hammer a single nail into your new roof. And my 13 year-old daughter Emily certainly isn't going to draw up the estimate on your plumbing or electrical specs. |
But I look at it this way: Whether you build it new, or buy or lease an existing one, the home in which you shelter your family is almost certainly the largest expense you'll ever make. And in constructing it - unless you're a builder or contractor yourself - you have no choice but to place your family's trust in people you may never have met. You protect yourself legally with a contract, of course. But still-you have to trust that the builders know what they're doing; trust that your family's project is important to them; that they're conscientious and painstaking; that for them, getting it done right is a moral commitment as much as a professional one. I show you my family because I know you love and cherish yours just as much as I do mine. And to demonstrate my belief to you, my customer, that the only way I can keep my commitments to my family . . . is to make sure I keep my commitment to yours.

Our Background.
As the young son of a residential developer in south Florida, I literally grew up in this business - spending my teenage summers learning how to build homes from the ground up. My parents' hard work helped send me to college, and I earned degrees in both business administration and computer science. After college, my new wife and I began our married life back in Florida, where I developed 20 years of additional experience as a construction and remodeling contractor. In 2000, Karen and I decided to return to her childhood hometown of Little Rock - because we were convinced that its more closeknit family atmosphere, and its healthy culture of traditional values, would be the best place to raise our children. We know that here in Little Rock, the only way we can make Keathley Homes grow and flourish is if I can look you in the eye, after our work for you is completed, and know that you're glad we did business together. Making sure that happens is my personal commitment to you.
